... This week, the PWHL officially filed a trademark application for the phrase "PWHL Takeover Tour" implying the league will again be hosting takeovers in alternative venues, which could involve multiple markets and dates.
The application, signed by PWHL Senior Vice President of Business Strategy, Royce Cohen, was officially filed November 8.
Looking at the PWHL's scheduled dates that remain listed as to be determined (TBD), an obvious block of games appeared ripe for the "PWHL Takeover Tour" in March.
As The Hockey News previously reported, the March 1 game between the Boston Fleet and Montreal Victoire will be played at the Bell Centre, home of the Montreal Canadiens, in Montreal.
Following that date, back-to-back dates on March 7 between Ottawa and Minnesota, and March 8 between Montreal and Boston look probable. The timeline closely mimics last year's March events.
Later in the month of March, a March 16 game between Minnesota and New York, March 26 between Toronto and Boston, and March 29 between Ottawa and Boston all have no time or location currently listed. ...
You are not the only fan I've seen bemoaning the lack of away jersey availability. I can tell you from decades of replica hockey jersey purchasing experience - over a large number of leagues & multiple teams in each - that home colors are always the hottest sellers, leaving me to choose from the unpopular away sweaters. So I'm not surprised to see The P' & their suppliers prioritizing release of the home gear, both to satisfy their fans AND to maximize sales. There will be lots more merch released over the coming season, so she/he who hesitates will not be lost.... BTW, Bauer has ALL team jerseys (home only, sorry ) available for sale via its website. ...

The Montreal Victoire are on the ice at training camp. Injuries are an early storyline plaguing the Victoire with Kennedy Marchment and Dominika Laskova confirmed to be out for the start of the season, and Cayla Barnes, Catherine Dubois, and Amanda Boulier as question marks.
The other stories coming out of Montreal include Abby Boreen's studies, and a rookie jumping to the top line alongside Marie-Philip Poulin. ...
