I doubt it for logistics reasons. I can see a big western expansion happening all at once a few years down the line. But 1 or 2 teams would be hard for travel reasons. My prediction is Detroit and Chicago.

That would be the dream scenario for at least some existing principal parties. But unless Mark Walter Group (aka, "The PWHL Bank") commits significantly more money to the cause - OR there's a decision to decentralize the currently single-entity League's control (ceding autonomy to the teams to run them more like traditional independent sports businesses under a league organizational model) - don't you think the number of proposals acceptable to the Advisory Board will be small due to potential ownership groups balking at the notion of all business decisions being made at the League level?

Considering the personalities involved, and the NHL showing very little interest in such an arrangement, I doubt it.
