Dorton Arena is a beautiful building, however, it was my understanding as an ice tech that the windows surrounding the bowl and the age of the building made it very difficult to keep quality ice during the IceCap days.

As a long-suffering Buffalo fan, I will say that the attendance for their Takeover Tout game was PATHETIC. Little to no advertising in local media, or for that matter in the arena proper. And having the Sabres being their usual exasperating selves doesn't help matters.

That, sadly, should end ANY hope of the PWHL EVER coming to Buffalo.

I disagree. I believe the league knows the takeovers last season weren't marketed with the same strength and brand recognition as they have been this season. Buffalo also yearns for a good sports team. Just look at the attendance for the Buffalo Bandits in the NLL. I would not put them on the short list for expansion at the moment, but I would not say they will never get one.

I should note that I'm a Bandits STH in LONG standing(about 20 years or so), and I've put up with some lean years. But I WILL say it's nice to see one sports team that Terry Pegula can't screw up. (2, when you include the Bills.) And if the PWHL DOES come here, Pegs won't have a THING to do with it since the league owns all the teams(if my memory serves me right.

So Vancouver is getting an Expansion team in the PWHL...Seattle has to be next right...Then Quebec city....then Calgary,maybe Denver...KC,Chic,Portland,Edmonton,Winnipeg,LA...San Diego,Phoenix...Hamilton

I can't believe you didn't include New Orleans, Phoenix, Oklahoma City, and St. John's, NL. :partytime:
