Prospect Info: 2024-25 Prospects Thread (CHL/NCAA/Euro)

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Koivu's year is officially over. TPS U20 was eliminated this morning by Pelicans U20. And yesterday, TPS was eliminated by SaiPa in the Liiga playoffs.

His D+1 year:
TPS = 8 pts (1G, 7A) in 32 GP + 0 pts in 2 playoff GP.
TPS U20 = 6 pts (2G, 4A) in 12 GP + 7 pts (5G, 2A) in 5 playoff GP

Definitely a bit underwhelming but hopefully he puts in the work over the summer and finds some success next year.

To put in context he's always been a project. Kapanen in his D+1 had 2 pts in 16 GP to put things in perspective. If his D+2 is still underwhelming then we can start asking ourselves questions

He was bounced between leagues and linemates constantly this season, hopefully he can cement a top 6 position in Liiga next year. He played as 2C today and finished with a goal and an assist.

I keep forgetting to post this but for anyone that has a Flohockey sub, they have been showing the SHL playoffs, for Kapanen they have game 2 and will have game 4. They also have Bergqvist games but I believe he was sent down to the junior team.
Are you in Canada because I am in Ontario and it says it's not available in my area. This could be because TSN aholes have it on TSN+ but presumably it would be blacked out in all of Canada then.

Tell flohockey to give you some money back. With the issues and the BS of needing to watch an ad before you watch a game they can reduce the price for their lack of quality they provide.

Mittlestadt and Minnesota were eliminated yesterday. So they're year is officially over. Mittlestadt finished with 18 pts (2G, 16A) in 40 GP.

Today, there are:

- Fowler @ 2PM ET
- Harris vs. Sawyer @ 5:30PM ET

There will be at least one prospect who moves onto the Regional Finals, but one will go home. And if Boston College wins against Bentley today, which they should (but it wouldn't be the first time there is an upset, Cornell beat Michigan State yesterday), then we know at least one prospect will head to the Frozen Four.

Because the winner of BC/Bentley will take on the winner of Denver/Providence.

Tomorrow, it will be the rematch of last year's National Championship, but this time as a Regional Final.

It's Fowler vs. Harris @ 7PM ET.

If Fowler is out, my guess is he's signed to an ELC starting next year and an AHL PTO to join Laval. I doubt he's going back for another year of college hockey. And if Harris is out, my guess is they sign him to an AHL deal. They still have two years before his NHL rights expire in August of 2027. He could also opt to go back for another year. But I could see him opt to turn pro.
