Volokhin playing in relief for Sochi today, came in after 3 goals against early in the 2nd period. He's allowed 1 goal against with Sochi behind 4-3 in the third... make that 5-3.

Made 6 saves on 9 SOG for a .667 SV% in a little under 25 minutes of ice time after coming in.

He's not credited with the loss as Sochi was already losing when he came in. His GAA and SV% are affected by it, but the loss is not on his record.

He's been sitting on the shelf for a while now... gotta find a team where he can get the reps and be the man.

Hmmm, Volokhin actually started the game and was replaced after the 3rd goal, and isn't credited the loss because the GWG was scored on the guy that replaced him.
