so the first poll ended up with a 2 way tie for 2nd with the hot new KHL star Artamonov and the AHL rookie Morrow splitting things at 9. So we're looking at who's #4 with this next one. Will we be looking at another close call or will this one be a bit more obvious?

1 - LD Alexander Nikishin
T2 - W Nikita Artamonov
T2 - RD Scott Morrow

This seems like a spot where one of our less flashy d prospects belongs but which one.

Hamsamich gets my vote.

I'd have voted Blake, but he's made the team now. Can't call him a prospect.

I'm glad I'm voting on these players. I have a lot of information on how they will do, considering I've never watched a single one of them play a game other than Jackson Blake. (I didn't even watch game 82 last year so I can't count Morrow and Nadeau either)

Yeah, I suppose it's silly to make up one's own rules, but I haven't been voting for Blake for the same reason. I suppose it's just the weird timing of the poll in relation to Blake, but while he's currently a seemingly full time NHLer, I don't want to vote for him. It doesn't seem fair to judge that he's performing well in the NHL versus guys that haven't made it yet but might project to be better players in the long run. Looks like I won't have that issue soon.

I voted Blake in the last poll for the 2nd ranked prospect and did the same here. Not only has he played in the NHL, he looks damn good doing so. An argument could be made for not considering him a prospect any longer, but if he's on the list, he deserves the vote IMO.

i've never voted in one of these until now. i know we all had some laughs when blake showed up with rba approved arms, but last night he made a couple plays that really highlighted that he is learning to use that strength. several other guys are as skilled as him, but right now he is further along on the physical side. he'll still get pushed around some, but not as much as a nads or similar younger guy.
