2024-25 Prospect Thread

Eiserman made the all tournament team. Only BU player to do so

Really got lucky with Eiserman at 20 overall last year. A 25 goal freshman season and a goal in the championship game (and the semis), I don’t think anyone would guess he would dominate college hockey so early and easily. He’s a sniper pure and simple. Seems to be able to do so no matter what league.

Yes, Eiserman at 20 was fortunate.

His stats were fantastic this year. I wouldn't say "dominate". He played with some really good college hockey players and his ability to release pucks so quickly, even if they aren't sent to him perfectly, is far above average and made him incredibly dangerous.

But as a pure freshman with a slighter build, there was only so much he could do as an overall player. He got used and abused along the way.

He's a terrier though. Going to be interesting to see what he becomes if and when he gets his man strength.

I don't see him having the puck-carrying skills of a Caufield though. I had hoped he'd be that kind of puck wizard.

SIDENOTE:
Chicago pick Sascha Boisvert, a player many here wanted last summer, will transfer to BU.

Results are promising, but he may end up fizzling out at Cornell it's still too early to tell IMO.
Agree, it’s just a nice change up to see our late round prospects actually putting up numbers as opposed to the usual out of hockey altogether or 0 impact on their teams

Muskegon is a good team in the USHL this year and Veilleux huge reason why. Hopefully he continues to marinade and improve at the NCAA level

Would be nice for us to get a late round steal!

Do we have something with this kid?

He's where he should be in his development for a DY+1 player but it's nothing extraordinary. Nice to see him chipping in for a final 4 USHL team.

Like @seafoam writes, it's far too early to tell.

The switch from Harvard to Cornell, which was real good this past winter, was an intersting one. I suspect he'll be given plenty of opportunity to take on a strong two-way role as they certainly must have targeted him in order to get him to break his previous commitment.
