Oshawa lost yesterday and Ritchie had an assist on thier only goal.
Series tied 1-1
Ritchie with 3 assists in 2 games

One thing I will say about Calum Ritchie is whether he excels or not - he is an asset that can be developed or flipped to further the retool.
Ah so Finley and Nelson aren't signing with the islanders...
Yeah this team is cooked

We probably should since he most likely won’t be going back to college. I just hope we don’t play him enough games that it’ll burn a year off his contractI’m hoping we see Eiserman on the team at the end of his college season next year similar to Leonard and Perreault.

Sorry I didn't finish my sentence. 'We probably should see him on the Islanders team at the end of next season after he completes his sophomore season.'Why do you say this?
By all accounts he’s NHL ready next year? I know Lou said as much but no chance he’s AHL bound to start?Oshawa wins 4-1. Now leads the series 3-1 and look to close it out on Friday.
Ritchie with 1 assists +2 and good on faceoffs.
Now has 6pts in 4gp in playoffs.
1g 5a 6pts
Anything’s possible. He played 7 games for the AVS and word is he didn’t look badly out of place. I certainly wouldn’t rule out the AHL. A lot also depends on what direction the teams going this summer.By all accounts he’s NHL ready next year? I know Lou said as much but no chance he’s AHL bound to start?
This pass by Ritchie was sick. That’s his bread and butter.

That was a very useful clip. Sennecke is a more dynamic player, but he's also kind of messy. Ritchie's handle on the re-entry off a bad pass was really nice. Then he handled that really hard pass as well as one could, and whipped a nice pass across to a teammate he thought would be there. If what he does leads to production, meaning he truly has a keen sense of finding teammates in scoring positions, then he could be ready for a sheltered role.
I wouldn't call his skating or physicality up to par yet.
