Went into the 3rd tier 3-3 and BU just complete opened the floodgates in the third! Wish I was able to watch this one live

Didn’t see the game but
Eiserman 2 goals
Bednarik 1 assist
Bednarik as a freshman has been getting the tough defensive assignments all year. Pandalfo put so much trust in him and he’s been so impressive.BU found itself shorthanded 5-on-3 with just 2:14 to play.
Ohio pulled the goalie. It was a 6-on-3.
Pandolfo put Eiserman in the box to sit out Kaplan´s penalty.
He put Bednarik out there to kill the penalty.
Impressive!
Which one is he ? The serial killer or the clean cut kid ? LGI
Let's relax a little and not nitpick the kid a couple of weeks after he got here. Nobody's promoting him as our savior but a very good prospect. As far as the stats, I read the Avs fans believe he got almost a little bored plus he had an injury midseason. Now if he doesn't turn it up these playoffs then I'll start to question him but there's no reason to discredit the kid after a couple of bad weeks.Don't look now but Ritchie went 1-6-7 over the final 12 games of the season.
A stark contrast to having started the season with 7-17-24 in his first 12 games.

Overall, he had 15 goals, 70 points, and a +28 in 47 games (regular season has ended).
Granted, it was his 4th OHL season.
And last season he had 28 goals, 80 points, and a +45 in a comparable 50 games.
That's a 13-goal, 10-point, and +17 difference in just 3 more games.

I still think no matter what he'll be our 3C for better or worse next year. I think if he has a good camp there's no way he doesn't make the roster.
Yea he definitely needs to show out in the playoffs I agree. The kid has been given a non-stop BJ by this fanbase since the trade was made.
Listing a few statistical points that may be seen as putting the brakes on that doesn't require anyone to come to his immediate defense.
What he does has to speak for itself.

Oshawa's playoffs begin tomorrow against Brampton. If he's just bored, now's certainly the time to shelf that feeling.
Lofty expectations.
If Lou is still GM, really kind of hard to see a player stepping right out of the CHL and into a 3rd line role at the NHL level.
Dobson is the last one I can remember doing so during Lou's tenure and he was given the incremental kid treatment for a goooood long time.
This said, I dunno if we want Ritchie in BPort with the way things have been going there over the past few years?
The lack of goal scoring slightly bothers me as I feel in his 4th OHL year + the caliber of prospect he is he should be more dominant. However, it seems with the exception of Sennecke, most of the guys on the team have seen a significant drop in their production from last year. A few posters who are Generals fans and followers have stated that the team has seen alot of change and turnover this year.Don't look now but Ritchie went 1-6-7 over the final 12 games of the season.

I’m not too worried about Ritchie though because he’s known for his intelligence on the ice and mature responsible game he plays. Hopefully his production in the playoffs will increase.

I can't find TOI stats for the OHL, but FWIW, the 2 guys ahead of Ritchie in scoring for OSH:Don't look now but Ritchie went 1-6-7 over the final 12 games of the season.

Team has had 3 head coaches this year. Been lots of change. I’m not too concernedI can't find TOI stats for the OHL, but FWIW, the 2 guys ahead of Ritchie in scoring for OSH:
Sennecke had 2 - 9 - 11 in those same last 12 games;
Marrelli had 2 - 7 - 9 in the last 12 games.
And the guy just behind Ritchie, Colby Barlow, had 3 - 7 - 10 in the last 12.
Might be enough of a pattern to not be concerned about one guy. Could be resting them a bit, etc...
I believe April 10thWhen does BU play?
Ritchie to me seems like a JG Pageau type of player. Won't score alot but will get you decent offense from the 3rd line
