@SRBisles, how dare you ask a relevant question about our top prospect in the Prospects thread.Christ, now we're day trading our prospects . . . like every kid has a smooth Bell Curve in their production.

As penance, you must enter the Marc Gatcomb appreciation thread and write a complimentary post.
He was scratched the other day- lingering injury perhaps? It's actually a thing.
He is 1-5-6 and -3 in his past 10 games. His team has won 6 of those 10 games and one of the losses was in OT.
This is his DY+2 and his 15 goals (albeit in 44 games) has him on pace to get fewer than his career low of 19 in his DY-1 (granted, in 65 games).
He had 30 points in 22 playoff games last season, so maybe he'll turn things on when the money is on the line.
He's still 3rd in scoring on his team and linemate Colby Barlow "only" has 57 points in 59 games, which is quite different from the previous two seasons.
Has had major shoulder surgery so who knows. He was scratched the other day- lingering injury perhaps?
Sounds like an option as a big 4th line C who wins a lot of faceoffs.
He will probably be better than Casey and MacLean.Should I be excited to get Gleb Veremyev as an Isle’s prospect ?

That was a Glib response.There's a blue pill to help if you can't . . .
That’s really high praise, both are self made low draft picks (Cizikas) and undrafted players (MacLean)He will probably be better than Casey and MacLean.

Not expecting any scoring. 4th line grinder that is tough and very physical who excels at faceoffs. Casey is done and MacLean wouldn't even make San Jose line-up.Let's see what he can do in BPort first.
Both Casey and MacLean had 60-point seasons in the OHL and then put up some decent numbers in Bridgeport. Heck, Cizikas had 66 points in 86 career AHL games.
Veremyev didn't even hit 10 goals in what was his junior season.
I know this team signed him hoping he could be a Trent Frederic type when all is said and done. And let's hope he is.
But there are much more promising college, European, and CHL free agents this spring.
It is nice to have a big guy who can fight in the system though.
