Jesse Nurmi makes Team Finland for WJC. Another one of our guys to watch at the tournament

Big game for Xavier Veilleux last night. Short handed goal and 2 assists. USHL

This is about 3 weeks old, but saw this and thought it was impressive.

Eiserman is killing it as a rookie.
Nelson is solid and steadily improving.

It’ll be interesting to see if he does or walks for another organization this spring. This injury really derailed him this year and a strong start.

I can’t be too upset as he was a late rounder and also senior in college compared to these other 3 who are underclassmen if he does go though

Was coming to post this. Connolly is the other winger with them.
Eiserman just missed setting up conolley for a tap in.

Also on the USA PP2 they have Eiserman on the right circle.

Love Hensler. I have him going top10 possibly.

As for Eiserman I’m loving what I’m seeing too. It’s early but even at BU the reports are so good all the stupid myths about him being a selfish player and not willing to backcheck or play hard or ridiculous. All he does is play hard and he’s definitely committed to putting in an effort defensively. Pandolfo wouldn’t accept anything less and would’ve already called him out honestly.

I’m happy they have Nelson playing with Eiserman. It obviously benefits us(isles)having them become familiar with each other, but another reason is because Nelson is the most responsible and trustworthy defensive forward on the team so they have him with the two younger guys and Eiserman and Connolly.

And just for fun (absolutely love Bo Horvat). The first round pick we gave for him, that was then traded to Detroit. Defenseman Axel Sandin-Pellikka hat trick and assist today in the Sweden win

Eiserman sweet smooth release. 1g 1a playing minimal minutes. Team USA plays the top BC line every other shift.

Nelson was solid as usually. Good on the PK.
