Will Zellers is like a cheat code in the USHL. Best player in the league this year. And I say that as someone who was not impressed by him last season. You guys have a steal.
Can't believe they name a bunch of stores after him...he must be pretty good!

TMak is scoring points this year, sure. But he's also older than almost anybody else he's playing, and getting first line minutes on a really irrelevant team that has no other options. He should be dominating.

But I still have little to no faith that he can replicate that success in the NHL, or even the AHL. I haven't seen any kind of real skill from him that suggests he will be able to be as dominant against players he isn't stronger than. I think the jump from college to the Eagles will be pretty brutal for him.

I hate to piss on everybody's parade, but I refuse to be taken in by yet another late round prospect posting nice numbers in a non-pro league. JC Beaudin, Nick Henry, Brandon Saigeon, Tyler Weiss, Igor Shvyryov, Denis Smirnov, Sampo Ranta, Colby Ambrosio, Alex Beaucage, Andrei Buyalski. My poor heart can't take any more abuse.

Who’s the last player the Avs drafted for the bottom six that actually made the roster in that capacity?
I’d argue you’d have to go all the way back to 2007 with TJ Galiardi. BUT he kinda/sorta made the team as a top six guy and was even a top line guy for a while, doing occasional spot duty as a bottom six center. So…maybe not him either. If that’s the case then, 1997–Ville Nieminen (Scott Parker was taken a year later but he was taken in the first round…I think Lacroix had larger ambitions that him just being a goon/grinder).

*scoffs* Gabriel Landeskog is about to make you all look stupid.

Sorry if this isn't the right place for this, but I just found Landon DuPont's wild skillz on the youtube -

This kid sounds like he's the next Makar....What he's already accomplishing is just legendary. I'm sure you guys in Canada already know about him and are watching but this is the first time I've heard about him. Amazing kid.
