Time for Insane Zayne 🙏🏼🔥

Basha looks like a real team guy... love his excitement, especially since he may not be with the Tigers next year as due to being a late birthday he's AHL eligible and Medicine Hat lost the bid for the 2026 Memorial Cup

Wranglers split their series at the Dome with the Ontario Reign. Played pretty well in both, starting to show some signs of life after a couple horrid months. Bad Bru turnover in his own zone gave Ontario a late lead. Ciona had a goal waved off on what my opinion was a dubious high stick.

Honzek scored his first in a while, nice breakaway finish. Kerins hits 32 goals on his season. Poirier has upped his game and attacking with more purpose than he was earlier this season. Morton continues to be solid and Frk has bounced back after a real poor stretch. Tullio starting to gel a bit on our top line. Stromgren has faded hard not playing with Kerins. Hopefully they can get some of the drafted prospects into some games at the end of the season because it is looking unlikely the Wranglers are going to qualify for the Calder Cup playoffs.

How have some of those new kids looked?
7 Pacific teams make the playoffs, so they'll still get in. Not likely very far tho

Oh right forgot the AHL has 23 teams qualify. Seems a little ridiculous but they don't really do much out of division play at all.

New guys have been fine, reasonable bottom 6 AHL players I guess. Wilkie scored his first AHL goal yesterday where the Reign goalie just badly misplayed a rather harmless shot. Would still rather Lipinski and Misa get in for a couple games before the season ends. Or maybe they actually sign that kid out of Denver they were looking at.

Luke Misa had an assist in the Steelheads loss today. They are eliminated from the OHL playoffs. He finished with 12 points in 6 games.

He is now eligible to join the Wranglers on a tryout
