Hamonic injury looked serious. I immediately thought that might be his last NHL game.

I know he doesn't have much left in the tank, and gets criticized for being slow and unable to keep up, but it isn't his fault the coach plays him too much when there are injuries.

It can't be denied that Hammer is a warrior and a heart and soul player, and had a good career.

Yeah, we can't take it away from him

The problem with Hamonic is the fact that Dorion gave him 2 years and a NMC so that we were stuck with him. We also stupidly gave a 3rd round pick to acquire him... So overall, the Dorion stink affects our evaluation

I had some up and down feelings with Hamonic last game.

"Oh, no! I don't care how much I would like a player replaced, going out with an injury like that is awful."

"Oh, he is back on the bench. Good for him to tough it out and support his teammates by being with them, despite the debilitating injury."

"Oh, he is practicing? Shouldn't he get at least a rest day, and a few games off, just in case?"

"Starting lineup. Couldn't it have at least been a tweak?"
