He’s a good prospect but his biggest weakness in his draft year seems to still apply. Not a lot of quickness in his game.

If a 5th rounder is better then the most recent 1st rounder, you f***ed up
Denver must have had cement skates last night because he was flying last night. His speed, especially with the puck, stood out to me
I'm not saying Bump is not good; I like him. If a 5th rounder is our top prospect then that is really patheticIf a 5th rounder is better then the most recent 1st rounder, you f***ed up
I did not watch any off it, but from the stat sheets he seemed to have disappeared in the final four. Maybe he was born to be a FlyerHe’s a good prospect but his biggest weakness in his draft year seems to still apply. Not a lot of quickness in his game.
Nah, he was good. Just snake bitten.I did not watch any off it, but from the stat sheets he seemed to have disappeared in the final four. Maybe he was born to be a Flyer
He is a legit good coach. He had Western Michigan really playing hard and with good structure. Bump loves him. I’m not sure if he translates to the NHL, but he could. For those watching NCAA what are your thoughts on Western Michigan coach? He's a former teammate of Jones so he's presumably on the short list especially given the prospects he's worked with

No McDavid's to skate with in that league. Is Luchanko too good for the AHL?
And until yet very recently rock head still chose Peterson over himBrought him up two years ago but once again goalie Parker Gohagen is an interesting story for the Phantoms.
At 31 he is no "prospect" but 11 wins in 15 starts and numbers far superior to any of the other goalies in the Flyers' system.
Impressive.
Success in rounds 2 -4 are what separates good teams from great teamsThe Flyers lack of success in rounds 2-7 of the draft for like 20 years is hopefully coming to an end. Brink looks like he has to potential to be a 2nd line guy in the NHL. Cates has done well so far as well. Barkey and Bump hopefully translate to the NHL
What about bad teams from awful teams?Success in rounds 2 -4 are what separates good teams from great teams
They also miss on their 1st rounders or trade them away for a bunch of nothingWhat about bad teams from awful teams?
Nothing against Ghost but when someone like him is your best non-goalie draft pick outside of the 1st round in ~20 years, it’s going to get rough unless you hit big time on a bunch of your 1sts. A lot of the franchises problems finally caught up to them in the last few yearsSuccess in rounds 2 -4 are what separates good teams from great teams
