I understand why Skinner didn't credit for a shutout tonight, but he really should. Pickard played 5 mins and didn't face a shot. Therefore, Skinner made every save. If it was the 3rd period of a 0-0 game and they pulled Skinner with 5mins left and never gave up a shot against, he would still get the shutout then, no?

I have seen this often where people forget/don't know than California is about 700 miles tall and don't realize that SF is about 350 miles and San Jose about 300 miles north of Los Angeles. But thank you for the concern. The Santa Ana Winds in Southern California are well south of us. I have opinions about how California has managed fire safety since about the 70's onward that I Believe are responsible for the Vast fires we are historically having in the last decade but that is for a different forum.

I hope this doesn't sound condescending as I was trying to inform those who are unaware.

P.S. I had a coworker who was traveling back to Boston and he lived on a ridge a few miles from the center of the Loma Prieta earthquake about 5 to 10 or so miles in between Ocean and Santa Clara Valley (SJ) and he was told that the Earthquake was somewhere near L.A. LOL Many on this Forum are living in States where they live often only a hundred miles less or a bit more from the borders of other States so the perspectives here are broader about travel within the State.
