Yeesh, that Ducks game was brutal. You'd think with Gudas and Trouba they'd show some backbone but no. Guess they rely on Terry way more than I thought. Come to think of it, every time I tune into a Ducks game it's Terry, Vatrano or goaltending that bail them out. Not much from their young guys. Eakins was a bleh coach but at least Terry and I guess Zegras broke out under him, Croninburg is just bleh. Under him, all their young players outside of LaCombe and Dostal seem to have stagnated. From what I've seen, anyway.

Prior to this season I thought their rebuild was on track. Now it seems conductor Cronin is steering it toward a cliff. It'll be interesting to see if Verbeek pulls the lever in time before it goes boom.

It was a somewhat overblown and manufactured affair, and I tend to sympathize with Gauthier, but it's nice to see the Flyers deliver so well in a "must-win" game

Was in Chicago last week for a conference and checked out the Hawks/Avs game. That stadium was absolutely packed compared to a Wednesday night at the tank.

I get that it's Chicago vs SJ, but still interesting to see the only team worse than us at the moment selling out a Wednesday night. I didn't see too many Avs fans either so it was mostly Chicago fans.

The Sharks need to do some major work on rebuilding a bridge to the Bay Area community.

I was thinking the same thing earlier. He's -15 and on pace for another 55 point season.

Unreal that we not only dumped his contract but got Dickinson+Granlund in return.

We've talked here a lot about how the Meier trade keeps looking better and better in hindsight, but honestly the EK65 trade (as much as I liked him and felt no ill will toward him leaving) is almost as good
