While I'm here, Connor Clattenburg put up three points, 2 goals and an assist, and was +4 last night vs his hometown Ottawa 67s. He did all this while also finding the time to accumulate 2 roughing minors.

Here to once again say that I think that Clattenburg has a NHL future. One of my favorite prospects.

Samuel Jonsson's team had some time off and it seems like they forgot how to score in the two games since.

He had 26 saves in a 2-1 OT loss and 40 saves in a 2-1 loss.

I don't know if there's an easy way to search this, I certainly can't find a way on the OHL site, but I've been wondering how Nicholl stacked up in 5on5 scoring since he cooled off from his early season start.

He is currently 49th in forward scoring in the OHL which is strong for a player who plays mostly third line minutes and doesn’t see a lot of specialty teams. When you remove the powerplay points, he jumps to 21st in scoring. 21st amongst all OHL forwards!

I can say this. Nicholl leads London in ES scoring with 38 pts (tied with Montgomery). Just looking at the OHL scoring list that puts him around 20th overall I'd say.

He returned to a Top-6 role, playing mostly with Barkey, Montgomery, O'Reilly & Cowan.



Nathan Day was solid keeping Flint in it.

Interesting development overseas. Damian Clara was loaned to Karpat in the Liiga. He was Farjestad's backup.

That opens a spot for Jonsson in the SHL, but his Allsvenskan team is pushing for a promotion, so it would be a big deal if they let him go.

I wonder if we'll hear some news soon.

They added Anders Lindback a few weeks ago, but he's only played 18 minutes with them since.

He hasn't really played well in a few years, so it'll be interesting to see if he's in their plans or if he's just depth.

Montgomery has found his way into the mix at the top of the roster for a stacked London team. Big kid who can skate and is showing good offensive ability.

Sens might have a sleeper on their hands. We didn’t have a pick in range of where he was picked and not that they would have picked him but he would have been a good rise to have in the system.
