Bit of a footnote prospect, but Brady Stonehouse, in his overage season, was traded to Peterborough, who are likely to finish last in the OHL this season.

Odd trade. And he has not had a promising year.

I think he was injured for quite some time.

True. I thought we had more time before the OHL's TDL, and they'd try and pump his value up over the next couple weeks. But it's today (and the overager deadline was Thursday), so he's finishing his OHL career in Peterborough.
I assume he's an upgrade on whoever they had up front a an OA and they're just giving him some necessary playing time. He's probably a guy that would have some work habits that could rub off on some of their high pedigree 16 and 17 year olds.

Sam O'Reilly cleaned up the garbage for this goal. He remained on a line with Denver Barkley and Blake Montgomery. Will Nicholl lined up with Easton Cowan and Kasper Haltunanen to line up as London's Top-6 this game.

---

Matt Copponi had two assists.

Shane Lachance had an assist and lined up on the third line. Obviously getting punished because word leaked about his meeting with the Oilers brass. ;)

---

Connor Clattenburg was ejected and given a game misconduct for a hit to the head of Noah Jensen, sending him off in a stretcher and to the hospital. Saw someone on twitter say it looked like a circumstance of positioning rather than malice. Will post video if I find it.

Looked like Jensen started falling just prior to the hit. Also looked liked principle point of contact was the head. Hopefully he'll be ok.

What and the what now? Was there a story about Lachance and the Oilers meeting up?

Someone in the R&P thread mentioned that Stauffer said it on Oilers Now, probably the day of the Bruins game. I heard Stauffer refer to the two sides meeting during the intermission of the Bruins game that Stauffer was doing a segment on the panel during.

Found the post I was referring to:

Lachance is one of my favourite prospects so that's great news.

Connor Clattenburg was suspended pending review.

Sam O'Reilly & Will Nicholl got assists on this play. No lineup changes in the Top-6.

Shane Lachance with the face-off win on the PP, gets an assist on Eiserman's hatty goal.

Really, I couldn't tell. :sarcasm:

I expected Lachance to be a 3 or 4 term Terrier with how prestigious his family is to the program. Season needs to conclude before pen can potentially meet paper, but it's sure nice to hear about signing our less heralded (painting in broad strokes, outside the CHL) prospects. Can we check vitals on Maxim Beryozkin please? Stauffer having nothing to say about Matt Copponi, who IIRC is a senior and would need to be signed, might actually be saying alot.

There should be discussions around bringing Jonsson overseas too
He needs to spend a year as a starter in the SHL before that’s a consideration imo, he still hasn’t played a single game at that level strangely enough. Hell he still hasn’t even played 20 career games in Allsvenskan yet. It has surprised me with how well he’s played that he hasn’t got a loan up to SHL yet, but that could be limited by who holds his rights in that league(which I can’t seem to find a clear indication of).

Karlskoga owns his rights and I doubt they'd be looking to sell.

Right now they're the top team in the Allsevskan and are in decent position to challenge for promotion to the SHL.
