Obviously they have 3 WS to dry their tears but the Giants have to feel as bad as us, or close;
-Lost on Ohtani to their #1 rival
-Lost on Soto, goes to the NL
-Sasaki to the Dodgers
-Arson Judge was theirs for 12 minutes
-Carlos Correa was theirs but failed his physical

Dodgers took Snell and Conforto from them after a WS.

Him not coming here. Its annoying, but it was expected at the beginning of the process. That trade though. Before that trade I had hope. Maybe it could happen. That trade gave me belief. Surely they're not dumb enough to take on like 12 million dollars of trash as a last ditch effort right? Especially when the offence needs so much help and the budget is limited. It must be happening right?

The trade is fireworthy in itself, it's so moronic. The fact that it made me believe just puts me over the top. They actually were that dumb.

The only way the trade makes even remote sense is if they were Sasaki or bust. Get the IFA money, sign Sasaki and build. If they don't then it gets blown the f*** up, everyone is traded and they start over. The 12 million doesn't matter and perhaps they actually get someone for the future with the extra 2 million in IFA signings.

They problem is they're too stupid to see the brick wall they're about to drive straight into. At this point every decision that gets made we just have to imagine that they did it for the stupidest possible reasons and they have the dumbest possible plan. Its all they've shown us they're capable of.
 
Can’t help but wonder if the Dodgers need some IFA money and would be interested in a slightly overpaid GG OF.

Damn that trade really burns.
 
Alright so the Jays about to get whatever is left in FA. Christ almighty, another wasted season upcoming.

It’s getting frustrating that this front office just sits on its ass HOPING someone will sign with the Jays so our social media team can do annoying posts for clicks.

f***ing annoying, how many times do they bring up the Bautista bat flip? The years of 92 and 93? When other teams are in contention of the post season, we dust off 92 and 93 highlights so our fanbase can think of the good old days.

That shit was 32 and 33 f***ing years ago, enough. Get a management team that will actually do something.
 
The annoying thing about this Sasaki nonsense is that we had to go through this laborious song and dance of pretending this wasn't exactly what was always going to happen like 3 months ago. All the wining and dining and pitching opportunities and whatever was just stupid performative nonsense because he was almost assured of signing in LA from the outset. So whether it was to stroke his ego or his agent's or just for the clout of saying that they got all these teams to dance like trained monkeys, none of it mattered the slightest and it's annoying that teams and the media went for all this time with their "but what if he does pick another team?" claptrap. Of course he was going to sign with the Dodgers. Why wouldn't he? They just won a WS, have an infinite money pit budget, have the two other biggest Japanese stars in the game on their roster, are on the west coast so that it's closer to Japan, and already have a strong international presence in the minds of fans and as a brand. There was nothing that San Diego or Toronto or anyone else was going to do to top that.

I understand the media doing it, they want clicks from other fanbases.

Ross Atkins deluding himself into thinking they had a shot, yet again, is just beyond idiotic.

The only chance the Jays had was if Dodger Stadium burned down in these fires and the team had to play out of Reno for 5 years… and even then it wouldn’t have been a good chance.

This time he even took on $13M in essentially dead money on a hope and prayer which is just absolutely insane.

Now watch him nickel and dime Vladdy who will (and quite frankly should) tell him to kick rocks.

I fully expect some panic signings with none of them being Vlad. Literally they can almost trade.. or sign anyone, nothing redeems anything unless Vlad is signed. Give the fans something to look forward to for years at least with one. single. player.
 
No one with half a brain who wants to win will come to Toronto.

The front office is a joke, the team sucks and Vlad and Bo could be out the door as of next year.

The only option now is to throw an obscene amount of money to older vets.

Even then they might not accept nor will it make the team any better.

Bert and Ernie should have been canned years ago.

It's insanity they have lasted this long.
