Imagine believing Sam Darnold was good? Once a jet always a jet
When you're a Jet..
You're a Jet all the way..
From your first cigarette..
To your last dyin' day..

I don’t consider myself old and I get the reference! Who doesn’t ?Oh man
I'm old. I get this reference.
I am 40. If I had to guess if you are under 35 you would NOT get the reference. But maybe I am wrong!I don’t consider myself old and I get the reference! Who doesn’t ?

I’m 45. I knew of the jets & the sharks when I was 13. Privileged upbringing perhapsI am 40. If I had to guess if you are under 35 you would NOT get the reference. But maybe I am wrong!
There was 2 obvious tiers to it. Williams-Daniels-Maye were the 1st overall quality guys and Nix-Penix-McCarthy were obvious 1st rounders but a step down.
The 2021 Draft had 5 QBs taken in the 1st 15, does that mean it was a 5 QB draft? Even though those 5 QBs are Lawrence-Wilson-Lance-Fields-Jones?
They had the option to trade down and take someone like Nix.Anybody denying this is denying reality. The choice was made for Wolf once Williams & Daniels were taken 1-2. There of course were a small handful here pining for Harrison Jr, but iirc the majority wanted a QB. Most wanted Daniels. With the glaring hole at QB here even Don Sweeney couldn’t screw up that pick.

Harrison Jr will still carve out a nice career for himself. He had some big games early on. The Cardinals team is mediocre. Malik Nabers had an up and down season but it’s obvious the talent is there. I’d trade this years 4th overall for either of themI don't know shit about football scouting and don't pretend to know anything, I would just get excited when seeing Marvin Harrison Jr. highlight reels and wanted him last year. In hindsight Maye looks like a better franchise cornerstone. But for as much as I don't know football, I know Wolf isn't the guy I want making the decisions.
