Let me know if I should add anyone to the poll.

Looks like this was a down year for most on the roster, but 2 stand out statistically.

Artemi Panarin
-10th in goals leaguewide (37), 13 more goals than 2nd best teammate
-10th in points (89), 28 more points than 2nd best on team
-9th in EVP (63),
-9th in EVG (29)

Adam Fox
-9th in points among dmen(61), 2nd in points on team
-19th in goals among dmen
-6th in EVP among dmen (40)
-2nd in takeaways on team (36)
-3rd in blk on team (104)
-leads team in ATOI (23:01)

HM..
Igor Shesterkin
-3rd in GP (60)
-1st in SOG and 2nd in Saves l
-25th in sv% (.903)
-9th in goals saved above expected.
Some of his advanced stats still look good, so presumably some of his statistical decline has to do with the team in front of him

Vincent Trochek
-8th in ATOI among all forwards (21:12), leads team.
Must be doing something right if he leads the forward core in ATOI

Panarin's production went down more than Fox's (31 point drop vs 12)

Is fox having a down year defensively or something for those voting Panarin?

Bread Guy. And it's sad that he only gets his due in a year where the entire rest of the team took a vacation or whatever.

Are these serious answers?
Yes.

Only player who really improved from last season, heart and soul player, also broke the Ranger's hit record with over 300 hits.

Won the Ranger's Steven McDonald Extra Effort Award award this season, presented to the player who goes above and beyond the call of duty, voted by the fans.

Ok, I'll add him then.

Fox was hurt for the most important stretch of the year and then struggled a bit when he came back. If he never got hurt, it's probably Fox.

Panarin, Fox, Igor in some order. Doesn't matter which. All had "down" years because of the crap around them, but were far from bad. Just a bad environment.

Cuylle was okay, as was Borgen, but probably not MVP worthy.

I thought Fox looked like a boss 1D in years past but this season in the games I watched he just didn’t meet the same standard.

Zibanejad can't even make it as an option despite the massive disappointment year for the whole team, what a drop off for him the past couple years

How is KAM even sniffing this list. As a Jets and Rangers fan, I'd give both Miller and Stanley away for the bag that holds the pucks, no pucks even necessary.

Bro I just add whoever has the most ice time or leads in statistical categories, I ain't got time to watch all these players.

Anyways, that's a shame to hear, I don't remember NYR fans being so down on him a year or two ago
