Would've been a turnover because he picked up his dribble. Can't be the 1st offensive player to then touch it again if lose possession. At least I think that's how the rule works there.I don’t follow basketball at all so my knowledge of the rules is around a 0.5 out of 10, but have always been a Gators football fan so thought I’d watch this final. How come the Houston player couldn’t touch the ball at the end after he dropped the ball on his shot?
He knew he walked but you have to touch it and force the official to make the call. Who knows, maybe they don't call it. You could see him look over at the official and there was this long stare like "I cannot believe I am going to have to call this in this situation" so he was probably going to but at least make him do itI don’t follow basketball at all so my knowledge of the rules is around a 0.5 out of 10, but have always been a Gators football fan so thought I’d watch this final. Thanks folks, I’m watching this in real time thinking there’s gotta be a rule on this because if not, this is the most obvious game-throw I’ve ever seenHe knew he walked but you have to touch it and force the official to make the call. The NCAA women's basketball tournament Final Four saw a steep drop-off in TV ratings from last year's record-breaking viewership. Without Clark in the tournament, the broadcasts of UConn vs. UCLA and South Carolina vs. Texas averaged just 3.9 million viewers for ESPN. It marked a 64% decrease from the record-setting 10.8 million viewers in 2024, according to Front Office Sports.
