2024-25 NCAA Thread

Should be a rule that you have to be .500 or better in conference to be eligible for at-large consideration. Arkansas, Mississippi State, Georgia, Vanderbilt, Oklahoma, and Texas would not be in this year under that rule.

100% agreed

How Georgia and Creighton are both 9 seeds are mind boggling

Gonzaga putting up a football score

We deserved an 8 seed. Houston is so damn good, but can't imagine they're thrilled getting the Zags.

Don't have a huge issue with SEC teams under .500, but .333 inclusion of Texas and Oklahoma is ridiculous. Doubly so with their mediocre non-conf schedules.

That said, it's the best two days of the year- soaking it up!

It's the effect of NIL, Arkansas was good the past few years. In the sweet 16 for the fourth time in five years. The SEC hasn't had a team in the finals since Kentucky in 2014. See if that changes.

Big Ten hasn't won the tournament since 2000, I was 9 😂 . They have made the finals since a bunch of time but normally get clowned on, like last year 😂. Nova also gave Michigan a good beating. Wisconsin played Duke tough a decade ago though.
