This Western Michigan team is easier to root for than most of the traditional teams that go far because it's all old dudes. The Broncos have a decent amount of 19/20 year olds that make their team agreeable.

Refs don't seem to understand that in the reluctance to make a call that might affect the outcome of the game, they are affecting the outcome of the game. Same thing happened to MN/Chesley, but in that case, the transition rush going the other way actually did end in a score.

Sure, not ticky tack calls, but you have to call obvious penalties, especially when they result in a clear change of possession.
