How many Hutsons and Hughes are there?! Where does it end?
The Hughes are over. Only three of them.

There is a fourth Hutson named Lars, but people have been saying he's not as good as the first three. Of course the first three were not supposed to be as good as they've become, so maybe he'll also exceed expectations. He's a 2027 draft eligible. Has played 2 games in the USHL so far.

Carle needs an NHL job

I assume Perrerault and Leonard are signed to the ELC's by tomorrow.

Buium is gonna be so nasty in Minny soon as well

Denver is such a brutal draw for BC. In no way are they a "normal" 3 seed.
Does it really matter? Unless you think they were seeded above Boston, they would have been above Providence and still lined up with them and beat them no?

I admit I don't know much about NCAA seeding.

My intent is not to make any declarations about how the seeding shook out this tournament and whether Denver deserved a better seed. Just that as a #3, it's a brutal draw for whatever regional they were going to be in. I mean has there ever been a better #3 seed in the NCAA tournament?

Ah ok fair enough

NCAA hockey and its players are far superior to any euro trash league. It’s about time the NHL and its scouting staff take notice. Fortunately, some already have. Give me a roster full of nhl prospects from Canada / USA all day over some 18 yr old Swede

The vast majority of NHL teams would trip over themselves for a chance to hire Carle. Hopefully he continues to be picky and when/if he makes the jump, it's because he's going to a great opportunity. So many coaches jump for the first chance they get in the NHL when that opportunity is a no win situation.

For example, please no Philadelphia. Terrible opportunity. But San Jose in a 2 years? Could be dynamite.

Am praying Fenway Sports Group sees him as the hockey coach version of Theo Epstein and throws a bag of money and term and long term assurances at him.

Problem is 1) the Pens have a coach who will likely choose his end date and 2) they’re not the most attractive situation.

I can't see Carle leaving Denver for the Penguins given what that situation is going to be like for the next 10 years. He would have already accepted an NHL offer if he just wanted a job.
