This is the exact type of case I’ve been expecting to see pop up for a few years now. I can eventually see a CHL games played threshold that would cause a player to lose NCAA eligibility. But the kids like this that play a handful of games like in this case would be able to retain it.

Same deal for the men's DI conference composite schedules for the 2024-2025 season, as the pre-dawn light is visible on the horizon ...

And there are (5) DI men's Independent teams playing this season ...

Boston U also looks primed to make another Frozen Four appearance. Cole Eiserman is probably going to be the top drafted US born players at the 2024 draft. Lane Hutson's younger brother Cole is also going to be added to defence.
EP doesn’t have Eiserman on the BU roster for 2024/25(one year later) but theres no way he won‘t playing NCAA right?

Wave after wave of talent are heading to the NCAA each season. Last year that group included NCAA Rookie of the Year Joy Dunne. This year, it's a group that features both North American and European stars either on the verge of making their respective national teams, or already there. While some of the top teams in the nation are set to get stronger, including national finalist Wisconsin who has arguably the strongest recruiting class of any team, while WCHA rivals Minnesota and Minnesota-State are both set to add high end skill as well.

Gophers likely moving on without Rhett Pitlick

In an interview at the Minnesota State Fair, U of M coach Bob Motzko said he expects the high-scoring forward will sign a pro contract rather than returning for his senior season in maroon and gold.

MINNEAPOLIS — With two parents and an older brother who were all University of Minnesota athletes, maroon and gold will surely always be in Rhett Pitlick’s heart. But all indications are that his heart is also saying three seasons with the Gophers hockey team is enough, and it is time for a new challenge.

While he and his representatives have not officially declared whether Pitlick, 23, will return to Minnesota for his senior season or find work as a professional hockey free agent, the Gophers have given hints that they are prepared to move on without the talented forward in 2024-25. ...
