Dauphin has clearly been injured for some time, in his last 4 games, no pts, -6 is pretty terrible. Gignac in his last 6 games, no pts, -4 yet somehow that's good enough to get bumped up to the top line and 2nd PP unit. Some things Vincent does that I just can't wrap my head around. At least he's not using Hoefenmayer on PP1 over Mailloux in the playoffs like he did at times during the regular season.

Yeah both goalies have sucked. Sure. No difference between an .878 sv% and a .906 sv%

Also completely unfair to say Fowler has 'sucked' in this round. He's come in to mop up the shit on the floor in two straight games.

It’s baffling for Vincent to go back and forth between the two goalies then suddenly stop despite the one playing his worst hockey.

Also what is Vincent doing in the dressing room? Too many times they've escaped a bad first period and then laid an egg to start the next period and end up conceding a goal early which ends the game. They should come out firing, but they come out flat and disorganized.
Lots for him to improve going into next year.

I slo-mo it to .25 speed and endured waaayyyy too much Checkers cheering...
1st goal...Eng goes puck chasing and stops covering his man, gets behind him and scores 100% on Eng
2nd goal...puck his post straight on, goes straight back past M to opponents stick 0% on M
3rd goal...Rein goes puck chasing, doesn't cover his side, man walks in 100% on R
4th goal...Rein doesn't close the gap and becomes screen, 100% on R
5th goal...M is playing high on boards, checker player is behind him, receives pass and score. 100% on M
4 of the 5 goals, defensive amateur night from 3 of the "future defenseman".
HuGo is either bringing back Savard for a bit of the season or trades/signs RHD.

All I know is Primeau went 3-0 winning the series against Rochester while Fowler went 0-2, which was the series you were whining about that Vincent started Primeau. Argue with those numbers. Both goalies have had tough playoffs, but neither is the reason Laval is now down 0-3.

Primeau is 25th out of 29 playoff starters in save percentage.

It’s is stupid when the entirety of the playoffs he’s going back and forth between the two goalies and after an 0-2 and below .800 sv% start to the series he goes back to Primeau yet again and they now have a hole they cannot climb out of. So yes, it’s f***ing stupid.
It’s Cayden Primeau, not Andrei Vasilevskiy. He doesn’t deserve this length of rope. He’s not the franchise netminder.
You might have some type of argument if he was at .775 sv% and Laval was up 3-0 despite it. But they aren’t, they are losing AND getting garbage goaltending.

They quite possibly wouldn't be in the semis had they played Fowler more last round. Primeau got them to the playoffs and to the semis. Now they're both mediocre but sure go with Fowler now. Tempest in a tea cup, neither goalie is making a difference in this series anyway.

You keep repeating this as if Primeau is 3-0 this series. I’m not disputing Primeau starting the 1st game against Charlotte. I’m disputing going back to him after 2 stinkers.

Nope. I'm doing a deeper dive on why we got scored on.
There are goal that are 100% on a defensemans mistakes and there are goals where no defenseman can make a difference. Then in between where there was no suppprt from fellow players leading to a goal.
This is how i see and enjoy the game.
We don't all "watch with the same eyes".

And where there are outright mistakes that should not be repeated. I hope that they are deeper diving every post game as a team and then individually to keep from repeating.
The issue is not you doing your deep dive. It's actually a good thing.
The issue is you using 5 goals to make definitive statements.
