Very Condotta-esque
Both Captains of "lesser hockey program" NCAA teams. Not much production, but a rise in the last year playing a key role.
Plays the game the "right way". Will never be a star forward, but plays an important role.
Similar size, but Dineen is a smidge bigger.
Must have impressed enough to turn the ATO into an AHL contract next year. They must be impressed enough with his 9 games and his practices to sign him.
So for next year, they already signed Goryunov, Dineen, and Dunlap (when he signed his ATO, he was also signed to a 1-year deal for next year).
It's nice to see that they're not waiting around for the off-season to sign guys to AHL contracts. They're being proactive.

Laval signs Will Dineen for next season. He plays similarly to Lucas Condotta. You can't have too many good AHL vets.

There's a viewing party for Rocket game. For the AHL playoffs. Outside the Bell Centre.
Last game there was around 1000 Rocket fans there.

It is absolutely a competitive disadvantage for the higher seed to go 2-3 but it is also potentially much cheaper and less travel especially considering that these are bus rides. This is simply teams believing in their ability to beat the lesser seed and to do it in a significantly cheaper fashion. It is only a competitive disadvantage if the higher seed gets swept which is unlikely to happen which is a disaster for the higher seed as they would only get gate revenue for 1 game.
Basically it as seen as an opportunity to lower the ceiling on costs while taking a small risk competitively.

They better raise the compete level and be effective on the specialty units or else they will be golfing...or is it bowling?
Disappointed at Mailman not scoring on a great chance and not leading the offense. He needs to be a beast and lead them like he did in game 4 of the last series.
