Laval Rocket: 2024-25 Laval Rocket Thread

Wait til he gets called up.

We’ll have a new version of the Bash Benched Brothers. :sarcasm:

I kid, I kid.
Maybe not as much kidding as you think.

LX constantly in opposition faces. I only follow a few players and I'll be writting somethong when as usual, have to look up to see LX in another scrum.

SMarty is not going to like that and he's going to force him to change...or bench him.

Belleville game. 5-1 Rockets

I thought I was recording the Express game but it turns out, I got the entire game.

M...NHL level game all night. I always wondered if there could be a sudden, big change in software and well, M channeled his inner Guhle clearing the net all night and still going on Math offensive excursions. Massive difference is that finally, light bulbs are going off in forwards heads and they are covering their defenseman when they pinch.

And I'm claiming a conspiracy. Before the game I checked the plus/minus and M had 0. He was on for an early goal so I was expecting the inevitable wtf error, but never came. We wasn't on the ice for the Belleville goal.

One thing that M needs to improve. He had at least 5 shots blocked. He's got to touch fire because he's taking way too much time releasing.

Rein...played well. He's not showing any knee or skating problems. Rushed or pinched at least several times and looked good doing it. Also a couple of checks. On the PP, he can't distribute as fast as M but he doesn't have enough PP experience at the AHL level.

I was beginning to lose hope that we got a one legged defenseman and Jethro on RHD, but this game is giving me hope that Scarrier and Savard can ride into the sunset.

Now for desert...every time LX is on the ice, he's trying to start something. He's playing the entire game with a chip on his shoulder. I'm sure SMarty will try to turn him into a Lady Bing thespian.

It looks like I'm getting the AHL playoffs and overdosing on hockey...
Thanks for the review. Is M Mailloux?

It's for the entire league ;) Still, safe to say the franchise has been a huge success. They had to invest quite a bit of money to make it happen, but it's paying back big time now.

Seriously, I'm an idiot. Because I was on the Laval twitter, and they retweeted this, I didn't pay attention it's the AHL that announced this for the entire league.

Not to mention, even if LAV had sellouts all year, they wouldn't total that much. So yes, I don't math good.
