Laval Rocket: 2024-25 Laval Rocket Thread

I would be surprised if Thorpe gets a game. Maybe the last one if they rest players.
It’d be good to get him some games just in case. I’m hoping they have a long playoff run and they may need bodies if there’s injuries

There's 3 games left, not really time for that.

They would also probably recall Beaucage/Nijhoff before playing him.

is it weird that they're not playing thorpe? I haven't seen enough of Dineen to judge.
Thorpe is not quite ready for that level yet. They gave him his ELC early to give him the opportunity to train with the staff and be around the team, but I don't think they're expecting to put him in the lineup. It might change if he doing real well at practice I guess.

Don’t forget, those guys will be in their playoffs as well.
Thorpe’s been practicing and was playing in the W, so I doubt he’d be in over his head if they inserted him. Besides, once they lock up first overall, I’d be surprised if they didn’t rest some guys. I’d honestly prefer a big guy like Thorpe against the Belleville goons anyway.

Fowler will play Wednesday and/or Friday so he can play at Place Bell.

I wonder if Primeau would have enough games to qualify for a goalie award? Might need at least 25 games I’d guess.

His stats are insane.

He might play if they rest some guys. I do expect him to struggle though. He wasn't exactly dominant in the WHL.

Laval Rocket Macgregor Kilpatrick Trophy Champions If:

A) A win vs Belleville

B) An OTL/SOL vs Belleville AND a Hershey loss (reg/OT/SO) vs Syracuse AND a Colorado loss (reg/OT/SO) at Ontario

C) A Hershey regulation loss AND a Colorado regulation loss at Ontario

Looks like Laval doesn't like all the attention the Habs are getting and they will play both Reinbacher and Fowler tonight.

I watched the highlight for tonight game and heard Reinbacher name a LOT. Im pretty sure he will fight for a spot in Montreal top 6 next season. Hes gonna be a good one. Just hope his injury history is not gonna persist
