I think the 19-2 guy with the 2.00 average is the guy starting in the playoffs. They don’t need to start a rookie, and they won’t.Believe what you want. Fowler is their guy.

There will be some unhappy campers here when Fowler starts in game 1 of the Rockets’ opening round series, which I have little doubt that he will.
Goalies find their game in their mid twenties all the time. I don’t see why they couldn’t split the net next year. I’m sure there’s going to be injuries that will allow them to start plenty of games each.I think the 19-2 guy with the 2.00 average is the guy starting in the playoffs. Hughes is only a man. HUGO is our God!!!But you have no idea what Hughes wants though.
Good asset management. Like when I have a pair of pants i no longer care about, I don’t just throw them away. I reassign them to house or work pants. That is what he did with Andy, and turned his season around. Gotta stretch that penny, yo, especially during flat cap years! The organization hasn't disrespected a single vet since HuGo has taken over.
They kept Matheson on PP1 even when it was clear Hutson was ready to take over, he had to prove it beyond doubt. They've given tons of rope and opportunities to guys playing their roles, like Savard, Armia, Gallagher and Dvorak. They've reinvented roles for players like Anderson. They kept every single UFA veteran at the deadline because they value the culture in each of these dressing rooms.
It's clear you have no idea what the values of the organization are. Fowler will clearly have to steal the net.
Of course. I have no doubt bout Fowler being the focus next year. Not this playoffs though, as the poster said.Goalies find their game in their mid twenties all the time. Fowler could come in at .950 in a significant amount of games and Primeau would be on short leash
Yeah, re-reading my post I'm not sure it's clear but I think Primeau is the guy for this year.Of course. I have no doubt bout Fowler being the focus next year. Not this playoffs though, as the poster said.
That would be a stupid decisionThere will be some unhappy campers here when Fowler starts in game 1 of the Rockets’ opening round series, which I have little doubt that he will.
No he isn't.Believe what you want. Fowler is their guy.
Primeau is 20-2-2....it's his net to lose.No he isn't.
The only way he gets the net is if Primeau shits the bed and he then takes over and gets on a roll.
Something that has happened in the post season at every level.
Totally agree. I know ahl vets tend to go where they think they have the best chance of cracking the nhl, but if Laval wins it all, and you add the environment in Laval, I’d be surprised if they don’t want to come back.It would be nice to keep that nucleus of AHL vets for a few more seasons. ABB, Dauphin and Wotherspoon would all be worth spending a two way contract on, if it's what it takes. Maybe Hughes too, he's been a serviceable veteran backup. It's easier to find one of those, though, so I wouldn't put it quite as high priority wise.
