Laval needs to be way better holding a lead.

Laval is missing Roy, Mesar and Tuch (Maybe Gignac ,too ? I don't remember), that's not an excuse to fail to hold a lead.

The 3rd and 4th lines aren't anything like they were to start the season. They were doing much of the heavy lifting early on.

I'll be interested to see how the lines get reshuffled now that RHP and Roy are back in the fold.
Honestly I'd love to see a Simmoneau Beck Davidson line tried out.
Talk about a pain in the ass line to play against.

I would do:
ABB - Dauphin - Roy
RHP - Condotta - Simoneau
Davidson - Beck - Farrell
Arseneau - Xhekaj - Kidney

I'd also like Simoneau on the Beck line, but I really don't see Farrell fitting with Condotta.

Kidney is more deserving to be in the lineup over guys like Farrell and Beaucage imo.

At this point is Sean Farrell good enough for the AHL?
2 assists in 19 games...

Nice to see former Laval Rocket Nathan Légaré getting called up to New Jersey and will make his NHL debut.

He was traded to New Jersey last year in exchange for Arnaud Durandeau. Arnaud did well with Laval, putting up 6 pts in 10 GP. However, Habs opted not to bring him back. And with how well Laval is doing this year, you can't say they made the wrong choice not re-signing him.

No

He was fine last year, so yes.

He might need a change of scenery at some point though.
I hear Trois Riviers is nice😉

Jersey must be desperate.

Tuch is easily the most NHL ready player that I have seen watching Laval over the early part of this season. No one else has his combination of size, speed and physicality. He'll never score much at the next level, but he will be hell to play against. Between him, Beck, Florian Xhekaj, and Davidson, we have some iron coming up. Montreal will no longer be an easy team to play against.

Hopefully, Tuch will be back soon. Farrell does not belong at AHL level.
