He's not arbitration eligible, so I don't see him getting a big long term deal. I don't think he's proven an irreplaceable value and has largely been an effective 3rd pair role. I'd expect they give him another year of "let's see" as a QO, because that's sort of how Francis has worked for anybody who isn't thrust into a bigger role permanently (Beniers only thus far). Granted I'd say he's the first of the Kraken to sort of live in that gray area at the end of their first contract that isn't arb eligible, so who really knows. I would certainly want to see more before offering anything substantial.
