Well, we're currently 7th in the pacific and 5th worst in the league.
Even the Ducks just moved past us and have a couple of games in hand.

I guess it's January and time for Kraken fans to start intesifying the prospect watch for the 2025 draft....

100% will be for Gourde (if he is not injured). I don't think Tanev has much/any value unless a team overpays him based on his past play. I am fine with that to be honest. Just move Gourde when he gets healthy.

Though, Francis might have missed his peak value and might not return that much.
Though, Seravalli said that a lot of teams a looking for centers.

Tanev could some mid round pick if we retained 50%.

Honestly I kind of figured this would have happened before now. He’s getting scratched 4 or 5 games for every 1 he plays. Still sort of gobsmacked why Francis made that trade.

It was a longshot but he was just trying to get some spark of offense. Maybe after the Kokko trade he sees that expending assets and trade chips for a younger player makes more sense than getting crap for free.

Sprong must be close to the end as an NHL player. Can't say I will miss him this time around.

Hayden and Meyers were called up the other day, also. I’m assuming Hayden is what passes for toughness on this roster and Meyers is decent bottom 6 flexibility being a C. Wonder if Sprong goes down or gets released?
