So I found it odd the other night during the broadcast when Forslund and Co mentioned the Sprong trade, and said "he'll join the team later next week"?

He was in Vancouver, who at worst was on the road in LA. We're not talking about having to find the guy in the bowels of the Amazon. What's the delay?

Funny schedule. Busy, busy, busy, then long stretches without much activity at all. Must be tough on the players finding any kind of rhythm.

Wonder if Bura is going to make it through that whole contract here. I understood the signing but it looks like an expensive mistake.

I think the signing can be classified as a swing and a miss. He was good in first season but I dont really know what to make of that season since both that season and Burakovsky performance appears to be a one-off.

There are always options but they just seem to be expensive ones.

- Buyout: Feasible but I would rather just buy Grubauer out.
- Trade: Based on his current value, I would consider that a negative because of the term left. We could probably trade him for a similar player who requires a change in scenery but that is a lateral move unless the new player rebounds.

Just need some mainstream media to move over now
I actually joined Bluesky a while back but never made a full switch to it because of this reason. However, I am just done with the other site and have just moved to Bluesky even though I realize its lacking in coverage.

I don't really use social media to post information rather just get my hockey fix from it.

Bluesky is certainly going to get worse but I think a big reason it shouldn't be as bad is because it is not owned by the same person who runs the other site.

Well, Twitter was still VERY shit before that guy bought it. I really don’t have any faith it won’t become Twitter 2.0. Let me know how it is in 4 years.

That had not been my experience. Mind you, I only used twitter to follow hockey. I then started following some Critical Role and DnD stuff. It started getting bad once the ownership changed and became pretty unbearable for me during the election with my feed being filled with political ads even though I dont follow anyone political there.

Bluesky is a breath of a fresh air right now. Sure it may go to shit eventually but I will make the most of it while I can.

If I were leader of the free world, I’d immediately ban political advertising of ALL kinds except in a multiple language pamphlet that came with your ballot. The world is no better for political advertising. I’ll dictator the hell out of that one thing for damn sure.
