Prospect Info: 2024-25 Kings Prospects in CHL/College/Europe

Watched the game, and it was not an easy shutout for George, but it also seemed like the 'Baricuda were just outmatched. A couple of decent scoring chances but no real big highlight saves he needed to make. Just a very solid pro debut.

Askarov was good also, but yeah nothing that really could be done on most of those goals. Just a difference between a good team, and an average team. Keep in mind also that the Reign are very veteran heavy.

At this point can we get a combined Hammer and George Battle thread?

if we can keep a strong DCorp after Doughty retires- there is a real good chance we are going to be a very very good team for years.

I think this team is hitting rock bottom after Kopi and Drew are gone. Goaltending looks good, just no top end talent to be found at forward and defense outside of Greentree.

I don't think they hit rock bottom and that's the problem

I think they're Calgary-esque black holed into eternity

Just good enough to tantalize, not good enough to truly contend. Basically now, but with 10 fewer points.

I can see that logic and meet you in the middle there.

I just can't see the logic of if Kopitar, Byfield, etc aren't enough now. Then how do people see Byfield + as better?
If it were me, I think Greentree needs a very long look next year as a top 6 wing. Him and Laf are the big wild cards that will determine of good the forward corps is moving forward.
