Or Vic Venaskymaybe a Nic Dowd type in a few years

He's likely going back for his junior season. He was playing injured for a chunk of the season.Has anyone heard any news about Ryan Conmy? I’m guessing he goes back for a third year, but I’ve been impressed with him when I’ve been able to watch him live. He’s consistently dangerous as UNH’s best offensive player by a mile.

Are you predicting a more civil less filling/tastes great type of rivalry? The George/Slukynsky fan division is gonna be fascinating to watch....

Or something more ruthless and deadly, like pineapple on pizza?
OK so you are saying it's time to hoard ammo, powdered milk, and Pokémon because there is a war coming....
Speaking of Conmy
Good question.Any insight as to what the endgame is here? Trying to get into a better program? Coach getting fired like what happ3ned with Hammer?
Selfishly, I’m hoping he goes to Maine because they need some additional skill front.Good question.
Hoven just posted this article though: Kings Prospect Enters NCAA Transfer Portal
Looks like he's more likely to go to a Hockey East program, which generally better prepares future NHLers. UNH has had a few gems come out (Warren Foegele, Brett Pesce, for example), it's not nearly as prestigious as some other schools. You can see all former UNH players here:

Isn't UNH already a Hockey East school though?Good question.

Whoops, you're right. I thought they were ECAC.Isn't UNH already a Hockey East school though?
Wait until he turns pro then you can talk...some of the best goaltenders of all-time came from the QMJHL where goaltenders were peppered with 40-50 shots per game...when they turned pro it became like 25-30The other thing I'll add about George - full caveat, I wasn't thrilled with the pick. I'm more of a Slukynsky fan. But George has grown on me.
Anyway, while his numbers in the playoffs look bad, Owen Sound wasn't even expected to make the playoffs. And they took on the Knights, who had 55 more points in the standings.
In the regular season, he was third among goalies in shots faced per 60 minutes. And in the playoffs, he averaged 43 shots against by the highest scoring team in the league.
So hopefully people can look past the numbers. He helped will a young team into the playoffs.
