Prospect Info: 2024-25 Kings Prospects in CHL/College/Europe

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Greentree is NHL or OHL only next season, correct? Doesn’t turn 20 until next January.

He really needs to be in the AHL against bigger stronger players
You don't have to worry about Greentree being in the A!!! Cant wait for his 5 year stint. See every Kings prospect. Lol.

No. He will definitely play in the AHL next season.

He will score on his NHL debut, score 6 in 9 games spread out evenly before Christmas. He will sit for 3 weeks and then debut in the AHL for a conditioning assignment before returning to junior.

Do I have that about right?

Correct. If he was born one day earlier, they could have sent him to the AHL.

Though on the good news, because he was born on Jan 1, he's eligible to play for Canada in the WJC.

My expectation is:
- Windsor will go far in the playoffs. There's an off-chance they are eliminated before the Kings season ends. In that case, we'd see a couple games this season.
- he'll get a few games at the start of next season. He'll also get benched and in limbo (not playing in the NHL but not sent to juniors). Then they'll send him down.

AND he's edgy?

Ryan Conmy is the first Kings prospect whose season has ended. Team didn't go far in their tournies and didn't do well enough to be a team added into the NCAA playoffs.

Jack Sparkes is the next player seeing his season end.

He ended the season with 1 G, 4 A, 5 P, Plus-1, 50 PIM after 37 game.

Ryan Conmy had 15 G, 18 A, 33 P, minus-1, 6 PIM in 34 games. While his production didn't change much from last season, he was playing through an injury.

Carter George made 26/28 saves to win 4-2. Owen Sound is now waiting on Sarnia's results tomorrow.

If Sarnia loses, Owen Sound makes the playoffs. If Sarnia wins, then the Sting and Attack play a tiebreaker match. Winner gets the 8th and final playoff spot.

George is expected to report in Ontario whenever the Attack's season ends.
