2024-25 Injury Report Thread - McGinn out for the season

They said Gibby has a lower body injury. I bet it’s the groin. Watching that hit he took his leg was pushed wide open. Hopefully it’s not serious.

I hope it's not serious too and more precautionary that he was pulled. Although, he did get run over like a truck. We might have to ride Dostal again for a few games and hope Dostal doesn't get burnt out again.

I hope that if they were dead the Ducks would tell us, but I am not certain. This team's communications regarding injury are extremely frustrating.

I thought the Ducks org informed us that Gibby wasn't really that hurt, but we really have no idea what's going on with him. And what luck to have signed Husso for the AHL and he's been the backup here at the AHL level.

Gudas will have surgery for an unidentified injury after the season and he will miss the World Championship.

They should have shut him down.. What a dumb decision. Im taking its his Shoulder or foot. He blocked a shot early in the season.. It really stung him..

Gudas’ injury just show how much an idiot Cronin is. His play hasn’t wavered Cro? Everyone can see it has and it turns out he was playing while injured you freaking piece of crap liar.

If he threw his captain under the bus everyone would be calling for his head for that also.

Come on, man. Let this go. A coach standing up for his player publicly is a good move, not a bad one. There are 142 things (approx.) to be frustrated about with Cronin and his coaching. Publicly supporting his captain is not one of them.

He didn’t have to throw him under the bus. He could have made a statement like I said earlier but instead he said his play hasn’t wavered even though the guy is injured and not playing well.

He could have said that and made you happy while pissing off every one in the locker room. Given those options, I think Cronin made the right call.

I see Gibby is officially mentally checked out and has called it a season lol. Let's hope he can replicate his earlier performance the next 2 seasons so he can be disappointed over and over again like groundhogs' day, haha.

Gibby got taken out pretty hard last night. It was kinda expected since he didn't return in the 3rd period.

Gibson seems to be missing games a lot this season. I am beginning to think that he has sufficiently mentally checked out that he will not play unless he feels that he is in perfect health. It is going to make it harder to trade him.

Gibson in his early to mid 20s he was already injury prone so now at age 31 him getting injured more often was probably gonna happen. Just like how Lindholm is now more injury prone at age 31 playing only 17 games this season and has averaged the 2nd lowest minutes per game in his career. Its the second time Hampus has played less than 20 games in a season.
