I would imagine they did an x-ray that night. If it needed an MRI probably got that yesterday or maybe even today. So I guess its possible a diagnosis wouldnt be available until the weekend.

If there is significant swelling then they have to wait on imaging to get a good look.

Also IIRC sometimes if there is pain but nothing showing up on scans they'll wait a few days to see if the pain goes away before making any determination/ordering further scans.

In fairness to real MDs, they have years of experience actually seeing things daily, unlike all the Internet MDs that frequent HF.

Imagine if the league made a rule change where the teams have to disclose injuries(unless its an embarassing injury or condition) just so dinosaur teams like the Ducks start reporting injuries like the other 31 teams.

They have a good idea of the injury involved, but need to get the swelling down enough to tell just how bad the injury is, and what will be required to fix it.

Helps if you are a radiologist and what people say doesn’t matter and all that counts is what’s on an X-ray or MRI… Not always right but there is a reason imaging utilization is ridiculous

Cronin said that he dropped Trevor off at OC Urgent Care, got gas at the Mobil station, and that he doesn’t know anything.
