He was a free agent and I called him up after his NHL call-up was announced.

Announced by the Sharks on Twitter at 10:15 am, posted by Yahoo in a player update at 10:22 am and picked up by me at 10:24 am.

Don't think I did anything wrong here and I can't see why you'd have the rights to someone midseason, it's not like he was a LTIR drop?

If I'm told by the commish to drop him I will, but I don't see why I would have to.

You don't buy what? Is he supposed to know you don't know the rules? Or is he supposed to just automatically understand that you don't know the rules and just let you off the hook whenever it becomes apparent you don't know the rules? What's kind of messed up is that you're angry that you didn't know the rules and are expecting others to let you slide, and if they don't they're not a "stand up guy"...that's what's messed up.

I don't consider myself a rules savant but dropping a rookie and retaining their rights while they're in the minors has never been a thing in this league, even i know that.

If you had dropped someone accidentally and ask right away for it to be reversed, I would fully support it. You dropped him 7 weeks ago and have utilized that extra roster spot in 7 matchups since then.

Now you're furious about everything and messaging me privately demanding me to "do the right thing"

I have nothing to hide, my DM was the same as the post.

I have been in this league since day 1 basically, nobody is perfect, you have every right to keep him, i understand its my mistake now, but knowing its a mistake, knowing that i had no intention of losing him, been flipping goalies on and off all year just waiting for his call up.

You have every opportunity to “ do the right thing” think more like a human instead of a fantasy shark.

Clearly i have not earned enough respect in this pool after all these years.

Where is the respect for the rules? YOU should take the "L" here, understand that YOU are the one who messed up and YOU are the one who should be pissed at yourself, not at anyone else...and certainly not trying to guilt or demonize someone for not doing what you want them to do because YOU messed up.

Get some quick clarification, askarov just got sat down, if I send him down, nobody can pick him up, correct?

If he's sent down and has the "N/A" designation, nobody can pick him up...but if he gets called up and the NA designation is removed, he's fair game to be picked up by anyone. If you want to protect him you need to keep him on your roster.

I believe Canucker's response was pretty clear. Sorry LB, Askarov's fair game. His post was liked by both commish and you as well so I assume it's read.

I thought the Askerov thing was asked and answered. Once recalled ANYONE could pick him up. So not sure why it is an issue. The only players that other teams can NOT pick up are players sent dropped due to be on the LTIR as they remain property of the OG team but the OG team does not get the player back till the seasons ends

I am losing patience with Ryan O Reily and Chris Keider this season and may make a move against them sooner than later. Both are a drag on my team right now.

It’s not under performing guys, your roster is not good, and that’s coming from someone who is literally in last place mostly due to goaltending right now.

Orielly is a old basically 2C now with low peripherals.
Roslovic is a 2nd/3rd liner
Foligno is a 2nd/3rd liner
Tippett is a decent fantasy player
Vilardi is decent
Palmeri is not that good, having a decent start
Faulk is awful in fantasy
Hanifin is awful in fantasy
Ekholm is great in real life, average in fantasy
Carrier is waiver fodder
Horvat is pretty good fantasy player
Barkov is elite in IRL, really good in fantasy
Kreider is usually good in fantasy, slow start for him
Chinakhov is waiver fodder
Marchenko is good irl, average in fantasy
Siegenthaler is waiver fodder
Boeser is fantastic

All 5 goalies you have are not good fantasy goalies.

Just look at the rosters around you, they have like Four or 5 absolute stars.

But to be fair, Let's compare this to my Roster which is also Struggling like yours.

Necas - One of the best players in Fantasy right now, Breakout year, over performing.
Byfield - Waiver Fodder
Peterka - 2nd Line Okay Fantasy player at best
McMann - Waiver Fodder
Garland - Decent Fantasy Player
Thompson - Pretty good Fantasy Player
Morriessey - Great Fantasy Player, having a better season then expected
Luke Schenn - Good for Hits only, Waiver Fodder
Jake Sanderson - Okay Fantasy player at best
Brent Clark - Recently has been waiver fodder lol
Michkov - Elite potential, too early
Boldy - Great Fantasy player
Donato - Waiver Fodder
Quinn Hughes - Elite Fantasy player
Panarin - Elite player, Great Fantasy player
Mittelstadt - Good Fantasy player
Caufield - Good Fantasy player, having nice year

Woll - Should be a #1 goalie, injury issues, we will see
Rittich - goalie Fodder
Annunen - Goalie Fodder with hope

As you can see, Were both in similar spots, but my top end is much better, this is why we suck, Look at a team like Vanilla and Compare, and he is only considered a mid tier roster, Might be better than both of ours combined.
