I'm officially a last minute seller - last weeks lost sealed my fate. On the upside, at least I was on an island in the Caribbean while losing. I don't know who my keepers are, though some should be obvious. I think I have some good rentals: Malkin, Necas, Teravainen, Bennett, Werenski. Maybe even Letang or Nurse if the offer is good enough (but probably not?). I've got goaltenders too if you want to take a swing...they've been a let down in the second half though.

I'm also interested in some 1 for 1 style trades. I think I need to make Mackinnon a franchise this year, which means I need to swap Kane if I can. Maybe Point too, I can't remember (or else I swap Marchand, but I really like his full slate of stats). Anyway, send me a message, get the ball rolling, I'll try to post a list soon.

Alright, I figured out my keepers (mostly).
  1. Marchand (franchise)
  2. Mackinnon (franchise)
  3. Point (3)
  4. Kane (Trade 1 for 1)
  5. Nurse (2)
  6. Hintz (1)
  7. Letang (1) - Could be had for the right offer.
So basically, on the block:
Kane: Looking for a keeper for keeper trade.
Letang: If the price is right.
Werenski: 0.7PPG from a dman, lots of shots, decent blocks. Especially good of late (0.83PPG, +0.33, 0.5PIM,3.5SOG in the last 30 days).
Malkin: I'm still shocked I haven't had more inquiries for him. Dude is still a PPG player with great PP stats and good PIMs too.
Teravainen: 47pts in 57 games, eligible on both wings.
Bennett: Good points, but also hits and gets PIMs
Barzal: Has had an off year, but still at 0.8PPG.
Varlamov: He shares starts, but has good stats (.914SV%)

Goalies: Cheap starts (no reasonable offer refused) if you want one. Campbell couild become a keeper if he bounces back after this injury even.

I'm looking for picks or quality rookie keepers. I'll take whatever the best offer is that I can get.

I do not think you can keep Kane anymore.
You traded for him in 2017-18...
So this would be the 4th year you have kept him...
Which included a roll-over.
You only get to keep a player for 3 years...
Even if you had put him on the franchise list at some point in time.
I tried to do that with one of my players back in 2019...
But CRD corrected me.

CRD can check...
And I will apologize if I am wrong.

Yes, that's why instead of including the number of years I'm keeping him in brackets I put "1 for 1." He's a placeholder and I'm hoping to trade an equivalent keeper (I also put him in my trade list, and mentioned that in the previous post).

That is it for me.
I did everything I could to make a splash in the playoffs.
I hope it works out.

Also...
Are trades on deadline days no longer instant?

Still taking offers on the rest. Malkin or Bennett could put someone over the top, so don't be shy:
Bennett: 0.48G, 0.98PIM, 3.42SOG, 1.81HIT, 0.42 BLK
Malkin: 0.43G, 0.50A, 0.64PIM, 0.50PPP, 3.14SOG, 0.43HIT, 0.32BLK
