- They had their normal meeting with the supervising official yesterday and brought up the pick play leading to the Nichushkin goal. He didn't say what reaction or feedback the official had about the non-call. He did say he wasn't happy about how other guys on the ice played it despite the Avs cheating.

- Back missed time in the third with an oblique injury. Got it frozen (numbing injection) and was able to return for OT. He didn't say anything about whether this injury will carry over.

- He got a text from a friend who called Marchment an enigma. One shift he's playing for the other team and the next shift he's helping your team.

Yes, but even dealing half the season with a foot injury he's not as slow as say Tkachuk is. And i'd venture to guess a lot of his burst came in the last half of the season
