Seattle entirely demolished and rebuilt the building underneath the roof of their arena (because it's a historic structure), so there is no reason to change locations permanently to get a newly constructed home. Unless the foundation has problems, they wouldn't even need to do anything this severe.

that's a pretty extreme comparison since it took 3 years to rebuild that arena lol but MSG has been renovated several times in phases without displacing the knicks/rangers

I’m hoping for a MSG type renovation. I love the AAC and the location. There were rumors earlier in the season they were renovating the elevators, escalators, and expanding the concourse area this offseason. 30 million project

The AAC needs a paint job at the minimum, because the white interior paint annoys me the most out of anything.

The concourses are tight down low, but I've never really thought "God this place needs a refurb".

Just don't drink the draft beer after the 1st period and my fat ass doesn't fit in the seats in the lower bowl.

That said I think the arena in Denver has far nicer ambiance than the AAC, but thats some paint and color changes, not a rebuild.

All part of the process.

Stars forward Tyler Seguin will travel with the team on their upcoming road trip after recently returning to practice, head coach Peter DeBoer"

"After missing 58 games, Seguin returned for the Stars' on April 16 for a regular-season matchup in Nashville."

I think we will get a report of him being full contact participant around April 24-26 and then we are looking at another week.

Possibly. Shapiro said he looked ready and feels good. Expects him to play game 4.

It's the playoffs. It's different.

Also, not sure if you all saw what Freidman said last night on TV but he's been told that the NHL is keeping a close eye on guys who were on LTIR going into playoffs. And he speculated that teams are keeping guys out to keep the NHL off their backs about injured players.

Sure, now that it's not Vegas doing it. Got to keep a close eye now

How mad does Petrovic's agent have to be at this team?

"My client isn't good enough for a NHL contract but somehow good enough to play for free in the playoffs every season"

Granted he makes 450k in the AHL so its not as much of a difference, but still. Guy is steady enough to be our #7 and gets shafted each year.

It’s pretty wild. At least Hanley played 30 something games during the regular season.

Petro just shows up and plays like a stud bottom pairing dman.

Glad we got him locked up for another year.

He needs to fire his agent and hire Dumba's agent

He plays acceptable third pairing playoff hockey but in the regular season he is not really usable. We tried playing him in the regular season every year he's been here. He just doesn't work in regular season games.

I know it's cliche but playoff hockey is just different and some players are better suited for it than others. Of course it's funny in this case when you call up a guy specifically for playoff hockey , to play over several regular season guys , who spend the whole year down in the minors otherwise.
