Yeah, it's a great sign. It's amazing how guys go from recovery to able to play the moment game one arrives and the salary cap no longer applies.

I'm no hockey expert, especially when it comes to rehab from surgery..but I think it would take 3 weeks just to be up to a strong level of skating every day.

Would need another week for contact drills and going full clip to be game ready

Its A positive sign which is great to see but still think April 30 sort of date range is the likely earliest.

Maybe he would be a slight chance to play in a Game 6 or 7 if round 1 goes that far, but can't see any sooner.

Like I said I'm obviously no expert though, anyone with experience jump in here.

Man, it’s still not a long shot that if the Stars could take 1st in the West we could see the Wild round one (I think the Blues will grab 1st wildcard), let the Jets and Avalanche fight and meet the winner round 2.
