With the Stars tight cap space, what would you realistically expect for Marchment in the offseason? Like a 2nd and a 3rd?
only the 2nd but you have to take dumba, too. no taksiebacksiesWith the Stars tight cap space, what would you realistically expect for Marchment in the offseason? Like a 2nd and a 3rd?
Eh, is Dumba an upgrade on Hamonic?only the 2nd but you have to take dumba, too. no taksiebacksies
Honestly, I'd do Marchment and Dumba for like Florida's 3rd, and then pay another team Washington's 3rd to retain half on Dumba. Dumba is probably an upgrade on our bottom pairing RHD, and Marchment gives us another middle 6 winger.I'd be alright moving Marchment + Dumba combined for next to nothing
Marchment, at the very least, has enough value to recoup some of the picks that we've recently sent out. I don't know why some of you are just trying to give him away. If Gourde and Bjorkstrand can net the Kraken multiple firsts, a full season of Marchment should easily be worth a 1st. I'd also be fine with a good prospect or two.
Yes. Dumba is amazing. You should petition your team to acquire him.Eh, is Dumba an upgrade on Hamonic?
absolutely. That's a steal, take it and run.Eh, is Dumba an upgrade on Hamonic?
I think Nill can find a GM to do him a solid. We might have to toss them a prospect and/or a few mid-round picks but I don't think that Marchment would be the cost. There are multiple teams that are hovering around the cap floor that could be willing to absorb Dumba's money.I'm only giving him away if it gets Dumba off the team too
But maybe Dumba has a bit of actual value given his veteran status and the scarcity of RHD
Anaheim or SJ could use Marchment for sure. Chicago should look into it as well. And for that matter any team that didn't make the playoffs probably needs a Marchment.I think Nill can find a GM to do him a solid. I know. I’ve been following your team. Rest the vets as you approach the playoffs. Especially Duchene. The team is soft as butter and the D is weak without Miro. Those are the weaknesses.
Nill is trying to threepeat GM of the year. He's a magician.Respectfully, I’ve been analyzing your team since WCF last playoffs. Admittedly, I tried hard to find weaknesses and holes and found some, but Nill continues to find ways to make the team better.
The Dallas Stars have exceeded my expectations, although though those expectations were somewhat misguided.
Much respect!
It’s fun to dive deeply into other teams, but my bias definitely clouded my conclusions/expectations.
Good times!
Don't tell the team that, since that's not how they're playing without MiroThe team is soft as butter and the D is weak without Miro. Those are the weaknesses.
Mathieu Olivier would have been a perfect addition. One of the toughest guys in the league with enough skill to not look out of place playing with skilled players. It's a shame that he re-upped with Columbus. The team is soft as butter and the D is weak without Miro. Those are the weaknesses.
They’re compensating a little and that’s good.Don't tell the team that, since that's not how they're playing without Miro
Or is he actually a moron?Nill is trying to threepeat GM of the year. He's a magician.
Crouse or Greenway (I know he just re-upped but it's Buffalol) might be a decent consolation prize.Mathieu Olivier would have been a perfect addition.
