You guys getting your hopes up for nothing, Nill doesn't make meaningful early/mid-season trades. You got to wait until the week of the deadline for him to do anything, Expect it to be for a bargain bin option like Jason Zucker over a player the caliber of JT Miller.
That's before getting into they really can't fit him at 8m for the next 3yrs considering they're going to need money for Wyatt

Nope...

Nill needs to go back to his trade days and get Miller like he did with Seguin, Spezza, and Sharp. Get the big name guy and give up very little.

Dhaliwal is closer to the Canucks for sure but Friedman isn't wrong about this stuff very often I feel

Canes do make sense

Nill is always in on elite talent, and if Friedman has a Dallas source, of course they're gonna deny it vehemently.

Classic Nill stuff here.

Just listened to the 32 thoughts. Yeah just a very brief mention of Dallas. Friedman just sorta casually mentioned he's not convinced. Didn't elaborate but wish he would have lol

Unfortunately I do think Nill will be hesitant to pull the trigger on any big deals until we are closer to the deadline. Even then, I think a few small pieces will be the way he goes. I don't think we can afford a player of Miller's level and still have enough for another top 4 dman

So if this is a template what are the stars players
  • Young player with potential: Lafrenière
  • 1st-round draft pick: Late
  • 2 C-rated prospects
  • 1 B-rated prospect

I could see Nill being more interested in Malkin

The article specifically mentions Crosby, Malkin, Rust, and a couple young players as not moving.

Rakell is an interesting piece with term, albeit a very streaky player.

Sounds like they might get desperate to move Karlsson. No thanks on that.

I think Karlsson would depend on what they could retain or if we could throw dumba back or both. Karlsson would be 4th on this team in points and 1st in assists.

I think he would form a great pair with Lindell. Harley and heiskanen as the other top 4 with Bichsel and Lyubushkin as the bottom pair.
