Canucks fan coming in peace…

What do you guys think would be a reasonable deal? 11th in points in the NHL over the last 6 year.

Was 18/22 in FO’s last night and completely shut down McDavid. He just needs a change of scenery.

Makes 8 million, I know you guys have the cap but Seguin will be back next year so it’s fair to assume that some salary would need to go to the Canucks….

Seems like Bicshel is too good to be traded?

I was eyeing Marchment and Mavrik Borque and 2 potential pieces. Marchment for salary balance and Borque as the “Raty” piece from the Islanders in the Horvat deal.

I don’t think the Canucks would really want a 1st rounder and I think Miller is more valuable than Horvat just based on point production….

Any other pieces on defense similar to Bicshel that are tradable? Think they would want someone NHL ready or very close….

They will fix the prospect problem if they stop nepo drafting players like Ertel, etc.

That's actually impressive, but Texas scores like 7 goals a game on average so I shouldn't be too surprised I guess.

I would do Mav and March all day for Miller.

Bichsel is a tough one because his floor is a 4th dman and his ceiling a 2nd IMO and he's by far the best dman in the system. Probably the only NHL dman in the system.

Obviously I don't want to loose Stankoven or even Bischel, but we aren't getting a player like Miller without giving up something that hurts.

I guess in this situation, Johnston is the only young player I'm not moving

Yeah Steel playing that high isn't a good look, you're right. But what if that was Stranges instead?

I think you are correct. Miller trade will hurt. Bourque and spare parts won’t do it. Johnston has to be off the table. Hintz is sort of lateral and won’t help. Stankoven+ will probably be the price.

That being said I don’t think Lafrenière or Schneider have been offered otherwise he would be in NY.

Have started to like Marchment as a player and teammate but think he's the likely piece in a deal for Miller. Good size physical winger who can produce.

This doesn't get it done, Dallas' pick is a late 1st at most. late 1st + Middle 6 winger + a top 4 defensive d prospect is not what it costs to get a 1c.

Look at the Timo meier trade last year , a top 6 winger for a 1st, 2nd(1st on condition of ecf), d prospect, and zeterland a young middle 6/to become a top 6 forward.

Miller is 2 years older, on less money, a center, and is a better player

To get miller your giving up a 1st, 2nd, stankoven and bichel at least.

Timo Meier wasn’t 32 years old with a full NMC. I don’t think people understand how much an NMC crushes the value of a trade. Especially for a player whose locker room antics, whatever they may be, are forcing the team to move him.

I like JTM as a player a lot and would love to add him. But I wouldn’t get suckered in to the ridiculous expectations of cancucks fans. There’s so much historical precedence for people overvaluing trade pieces on here, you’d think they would catch on.

I feel this way too. That's a big trade to complete mid-season unless the team continues to struggle. If they heat up in any way he will stay 100%

I'm not a nucks fan, I root for the stars. I don't think the stars should be in on him tbf I just like arguing on the internet.
