I would trade for Parssinen if Nashville is seriously intent on moving him

His dad played for the Might Ducks back in the day (only 17 games).

I don't know if Pärssinen would bring anything that the team doesn't already have. I do hope that he gets traded away from Nashville.

Nah. You’ve yelled “wolf” so many times that nobody believes wolves even exist any more. You’re the reason grandmothers and little girls get eaten. How do you live with yourself?
I just blame fowler for the grandmothers and girls getting eaten and continue living

Every defense of Fowler comes with a disclaimer “I’m not saying he’s good, but……..” He’s done. We will have fond memories, but we will not miss him

I think he's done here. I don't doubt that he can still be a decent top 4 Dman in the league, his tools haven't completely evaporated. I think he had himself mentally ready to move on this summer and has been playing with one foot out the door ever since. Now if the rumors are to be believed, he may be aware he was offered for Trouba and now forced to play with him. That's a pretty awkward situation even for a pro. I don't doubt that the uncertainty of the future (after fifteen years in one place) could be weighing heavily enough to be affecting his play right now. Have never been one of his biggest defenders but I don't think he necessarily is simply forever doomed to be as bad as he's looked the last few games. I suspect there's a bigger picture there.

Anyway it's time to get him moved, get it over with for everyone's sake.

Same, I thought Nashville had a few intriguing guys on the fence of the NHL to target with potential trades. It's incredible none of them made it in Nashville but all seem to flourish elsewhere. Questionable management.

Let's unite Pärssinen and Kakko.

None whatsoever. I wouldn’t want to trade any of the youngsters until we get to see what they can do under a proper coach.

I can totally understand that, I'd rather see Cronin gone before any young core trades

Wahlstrom waived….

Early development scorer, had some pro level tools at age 16/17 but nothing that stands out at the highest level now. Can be a scorer in the AHL with his big shot I guess, but not sure there's enough else there.

The Engvall contract seemed pretty bizarre at the time, and now he's on waivers in year two of seven. You can sort of see what they were thinking at the time, he's huge and skates well. He had the makings of big defensive minded third line winger who could maybe slide up the lineup. Posted a couple 30+ point years including 9 points in 18 games after they acquired him they year. Figured they would have a fixture in the middle of the lineup signed long term for pretty low end 3rd liner money at best. But you don't give a guy like that seven damn years.

Seems like he's regressed to being more of a vanilla 4th liner who doesn't make use of his size, which makes him about triple overpaid with several years left. If they buy him out this off season, it will be 1M per year for the next ten years

He didn’t regress to this, he’s always been this
